Digital Scoreboards for Schools

It’s been a busy start to 2024 and it’s fair to say the Yap!digital and Signs & Lines team has done it again! The Hale School Craig Oval scoreboard is the second of two digital scoreboard screens designed, fabricated, installed and commissioned with our trademark professionalism in early 2024.

Scoreboard Criteria

Hale School was seeking to replace an existing static scoreboard with a larger, interactive digital screen to offer instant content and scoring for a range of sporting codes. It was also wanting the option to play non-sports related videos to the school audience in a more cinematic style.

In addition to live scores, the brief required a scoreboard that could show video content, game replays, advertising links (to school coffee shops, merchandise, clubs etc) and promotional material relating to future events or fixtures.

The Scoreboard Software needed to support AFL, Cricket and Athletics. Importantly it needed to be versatile and morph according to the code and season in the school calendar.

As always, our fully integrated service included full commissioning and training allowing staff to control the screen from a HQ base and anywhere on the field through a mobile app. Our technical support team provided content management advice, programming support at the outset and for personnel changes.
