Race Action – Melbourne Cup 2023

It’s not all work and no play here at Yap!digital. There was plenty of race action on LED digital screen we had under development.

This year we were lucky to watch the Melbourne Cup ’23 on a large digital screen in our yard… beats the usual TV and it’s fair to say that everyone had a great view of the race. Just like being at Flemington (maybe!?) – well not quite as we didn’t dress in our finery but we still enjoyed alot of good banter, a Sweepstake and comradery as we watched the horses around the 3200m racecourse.

With a viewing area of 20m², the P8 outdoor screen just happened to be in the testing phase prior to being installed at a client’s venue so we all decided to take part in the vital QC process whilst enjoying the race and a Subway lunch.

It’s safe to say that the digital screen passed the test with flying colours, as did ‘Without a Fight’ as he galloped to victory.

Well done to Paula who nailed the Sweepstake win and pocketed the dough.
